Presentation

The B-Cure laser sport is a compact medical device that can be taken anywhere with you. It's very easy to use and can be used to treat Achilles tendon damage, sprains, bruises, tears, plantar fasciitis or aponeurosis and joint inflammation.
The operating principle is an infrared laser which crosses the epidermis to stimulate the area to be treated by 3 actions:
  • - By reducing pain by producing endorphins.
  • - By stimulating the production of anti-free radicals for an anti-inflammatory effect.
  • - By accelerating healing, by producing ATP

Technical data

- Treatment: 6 to 8 minutes twice a day.
- Accelerates healing and reduces pain.
- Avoid use of anti-inflammatory drugs.
- The laser emits light (808 nm) which penetrates up to 40 mm under the skin.
- No risk of overdose and no known side effects.
- Completely painless.
- Used by experienced practitioners in Israel.

The B-Cure Laser sport was chosen by the Israeli Olympic Committee for the treatment of Israeli Olympic athletes during the Rio 2016 games. The laser can be switched on in 2 ways :

- by pressing the laser head on the skin.
- in automatic mode by simultaneously pressing the ON/OFF button and the side button.

Don't point the laser towards the eyes, as this could cause irreversible damage.
As the device allows a multiplication of cells, if you are or have been suffering from cancer take advice from a doctor before using it.

Test condition

I have had it for over a year now and I continue to use it regularly on the Achilles tendon as soon as it becomes painful again. In 2016, I managed to heal from a plantar aponeurosis and I was able to maintain an adequate training for my preparation for La Rochelle marathon.

My review

The device is easily transportable, easy to use and efficient. In 2016, I was able to maintain a marathon training plan by limiting my pain with weeks of training up to 120 km. On the negative side, a small beep sounds every 3 seconds during the treatment, it can be disturbing, but you quickly forget it when you're watching TV. It is sometimes difficult to start the countdown (especially on the Achilles tendon) in the "laser head press" mode but it can be started in another mode.

Conclusion

After using it on my plantar fasciitis I think I am now cured. For my Achilles tendon, I have greatly limited the pain and I use it to relieve myself as soon as it comes back after substantial training (long run or interval training). The price is high but I am convinced of the help that this product has given me to beat my record during the La Rochelle marathon.

  • Easily transportable.
  • Efficiency.
  • Battery life.
  • Regular beeps every 3 seconds.
  • Sometimes difficult to engage depending on the position.
  • Investment price.
